ENG 265 Introduction to Creative Writing

Introduction to Creative Writing entails the study of the craft of creative writing. Over the course of the semester, students will learn to identify and discuss the characteristics of literary creative writing, compose basic works of creative writing, employ effective editing and revision skills, and use a standardized vocabulary to justify aesthetic literary judgments. Class enrollment is limited to 20 students. This course meets General Education Goal 7: Aesthetic Sensibility and the Arts
