This introductory course in the social science of human geography surveys the spatial aspects of: human-environment interaction, religion, language, agriculture, industrial & economic development, urbanization, globalization and population trends, as well as other adjustments made to the cultural landscape. This course meetsGeneral Education Core Goal 9: Behavioral and Social Sciences; Core Goal 11: Civic Responsibility; and Core Goal 12: Sensitivity to Global Perspectives and Cultural and Social Diversity.
