ART 249 The Practice of Public Art

Credits: 3.00

This course introduces students to the many facets of designing and producing public art. Students will explore public art in its many manifestations; from site specific projects, contemporary memorials, political actions, projects that work with communities, environmental, temporary, ephemeral and permanent projects. Students will work directly with faculty in developing concepts, client presentations, budgeting, fabrication, and installation.
