This course is designed to introduce the student to a variety of career opportunities within the lodging and food service industries. Each segment is discussed in terms of its growth potential, trends, unique characteristics, and management responsibilities. Field trips are taken to hotels and restaurants, including those independently owned and chains. This course is subject to a course fee.
