Color Theory (ART 131)

This course is an exploration of the physical and psychological properties of color. Students will develop a foundation for working with color as a means of expression. Students will build a color vocabulary and investigate the use of color as a visual element of communication. Creative problem solving through conceptualization, research, technical execution and presentation will be emphasized. This course is subject to a course fee.

ART 130 - Two-Dimensional Design Principles
ENG 010A - Basic Writing or ENG 011 - Basic Writing II or ESL 011 - Basic Writing II
REA 011 - Fundamentals of College Reading or REA 017 - Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension Development II
