The musical group Colcannon has developed a distinctive, inventive, and contemporary musical style while still keeping in firm touch with the heart and essence of traditional Irish music. Colcannon has recorded six albums for Oxford Road Records, which have received airplay on hundreds of public radio stations across the U.S. as well as in Europe and Canada. The recent CD release 'Corvus' spent three months in the top ten of the National Celtic Radio Chart in the U.S. Colcannon has also been featured in an Emmy award-winning concert video "Colcannon in Concert" that was presented as a PBS television special.

The Colorado String Quartet is an all female chamber ensemble that is recognized internationally as one of the finest string quartets in the world. Their style combines their deep knowledge of classical literature with energy and passion. Their school program introduces students to chamber music and the principle instruments, violin, viola, cello, and double bass, as well as to the major composers Stravinsky, Bach, Haydn, and Dvorak in a fun and interesting presentation.

The Colorado Quartet is recognized on four continents as one of the finest string quartets on the international scene. Winners of both the Banff International String Quartet Competition and the Naumburg Chamber Music Award, their performances are noted for their musical integrity, impassioned playing and lyrical finesse. Highlights of past years include tours of more than twenty countries and performances in major cities across the globe. New York appearances include the Mostly Mozart Festival, concerts in Carnegie Hall and at Lincoln Center. The Quartet regularly performs the complete Beethoven Quartets, most recently in Berlin, making them the first female quartet to have performed the Beethoven cycle in both North America and in Europe.

The Morgan State University Choir, one of the nation's most prestigious university choral ensembles, has been led for the past 30 years by conductor Nathan Carter. The Choir's repertoire spans several centuries and includes classical, gospel, and contemporary popular music. It is also noted for its emphasis on preserving the heritage of the spiritual, especially in the historic practices of performance. The Choir tours internationally on a regular basis and appears with the finest American and European orchestras and on radio and television. Highlights include concerts at the White House, and tours of South Africa at the request of Bishop Desmond Tutu.

The Paul Taylor Dance Company, celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a tour of all 50 States, is one of the world's most exquisite ensembles. Mr. Taylor has become a cultural icon -- indeed, a living legend and one of history's most celebrated artists. His two dance companies, Taylor 2 was created in 1993, travel the globe many times over, bringing his ever-burgeoning repertoire to theaters and venues of every size and description in cultural capitals, on college campuses and in rural communities. His choreography quickly became the gold standard of modern dance. His creative powers have shown no sign of abating even after 52 years and 124 dances. Paul Taylor established Taylor 2 in 1993 to ensure that his works could be seen by audiences all over the world, also teaching and provide community outreach. The Paul Taylor Company tour in Pennsylvania is part of American Masterpieces: Three Centuries of Artistic Genius, a major initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, with support from the NEA and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
