About the Foundation

The Montgomery County Community College Foundation was established in December 1983 with the sole purpose of supporting the excellence of Montgomery County Community College by serving as its charitable agent and securing private funds.

In the 25 years since, the Foundation has experienced strong growth from humble beginnings. As a result of the generosity of hundreds of alumni, parents, community friends, private foundations, and corporations, the Foundation has assets totaling $5,993,618 as of June 30, 2008.

The Foundation provides scholarships for deserving students, grants for faculty projects, emergency funds for students, support for cultural activities on campus, and monies for other college programs and activities.
