DHG 261 Periodontics II

The major emphasis of this course is on treatment planning (intraoral photographs, periodontal charting, occlusal analysis, patient education) and therapy (pain control, chemotherapeutic agents, site specific drug therapy, host modulation drug therapy, periodontal surgery, periodontal packs, sutures) of the periodontal patient. PREREQUISITE(S): All second semester courses in the Dental Hygiene Program of Study CO-REQUISITE(S): DHG 221 - Preventive Oral Health Services III (Clinic) DHG 222 - Preventive Oral Health Services III (Seminar)
