How do faculty members log in to the Network and to library databases?
- the first letter of your first name,
- plus the first 7 letters of your last name
Faculty ID's for the network and library databases are:
For example, if your name is John Smith your network ID will be jsmith. Please contact your department for your inital password.
How do faculty members log in to WebAdvisor?
Your WebAdvisor ID consists of the first initial of your first name, then your last name followed by the last 4 digits of your Datatel ID number. Your password is the same password you use to log into the network.
How do faculty members get IDs for the Network, Groupwise, VoiceMail, and WebAdvisor?
All faculty and staff get a network, Groupwise, and WebAdvisor account automatically through your academic division.
If you have not received it, contact the division secretary or your supervisor to fill out the form online
(available on the intranet only). After you login, click on Information Technology, then Helpdesk Center, then Network Login Request.
The only exception is for part-time faculty, who can have a voicemail box created by request, using the above form.
How do faculty members get software installed on the network?
Faculty looking to integrate technology into the curriculum are encouraged to contact the Director of Networking Services to preview software, and have software examined to ascertain compatibility with the network. Availability of software and number of licenses will be determined.
How can faculty and staff get training?
