Instructional Technology Resources for Faculty
What We Do
The mission of the Instructional Technology team is to assist faculty in promoting effective uses of technology to increase learning; to provide consultation and development work; and to provide training and development opportunities for MCCC faculty in the use of technology.
We assist faculty in integrating technology, by:
- Training in the use of classroom technology, e.g. Smart Classrooms, Clickers, and Tablet PCs
- Developing interactive, online learning objects
- Teaching faculty how to use Blackboard and create web pages
- Selecting and using CBT training
- Training in the use of presentation technology, e.g. PowerPoint

Faculty are welcome to drop in to the Technology Training Center or to schedule one-on-one training.
Logins and Passwords
At MCCC, employees are given two different user IDs, one to gain access to the Network and the other to gain access to WebAdvisor. Go to the FAQ's for more informantion.
Blackboard
Blackboard is the course management system used at MCCC that supports teaching and learning in both face-to-face and online courses. Through Blackboard, faculty are able to access:
- Class information online
- Student information
- Discussion boards
- Course documents
- And more!
