Faculty, Staff, and Administrator Training

IT is responsible for most of the in-house training in technology. Through the Center for Teaching and Learning and IT, faculty can attend training sessions in everything from using the email system, to learning how to edit and scan pictures, to how to use a digital camera. The training sessions vary from one-on-one training to whole classes of approximately twenty people.

Computer Lab

Additional trainings are also offered for a variety of the Administrative software, such as Datatel and WebAdvisor. Specific departments usually hold these trainings, rather than just the Information Technology department. The IT team is continually developing sessions to stay current with the changing trends in technology. Eventually the hope is to have online follow-up training assessments for employees to take after going through their training program. This process will help determine areas that still need improvement and what skills have been mastered
