As part of the 17th Annual Technology Conference, Montgomery County Community College is pleased to present a FREE preconference workshop. Introducing the 1st annual ‘Unlocking the Potential of the Learning Management Systems (LMS) Summit,’ on Thursday October 6, 2011 from 1 to 5 p.m.
In conjunction with the IMS Global Learning Consortium, Montgomery County Community College will be hosting a panel of students and faculty who use multiple learning management systems to engage with moderator Rob Abel, Chief Executive of IMS, whose aim is to support institutions in leveraging technology to achieve Learning Impact.
This event is a unique national summit that allows LMS users (students, faculty, and administrators) to listen to the voices of students and faculty on where the value is, isn’t, and should be when it comes to Learning Management Systems. As Learning Management Systems have achieved wide adoption in higher education, many Colleges, Universities, and suppliers are now looking to enhance the learning experience beyond administrative functions. MC3 desires to help colleges across the country, especially community colleges, regain the focus and value of Learning Management Systems as they continue the drive for innovative technology that helps improve student learning.
This Special National summit has limited seating and there is no charge to attend.
