Taking the Lead…Celebrating Women in the Workforce

In the spirit of initiative and endeavor, Montgomery County Community College seeks to extend a tradition of empowerment and entertainment through the game of golf. The Leading Women Symposium and Golf Experience will offer a forum for women to experience golf—developing athletic, social, and leadership skills in a game firmly established.

The event will highlight women’s leadership in the workplace, as well as raise awareness of the College’s innovative programs for women entrepreneurs, such as the “Starting a Successful Women-Owned Business Series.” The series was developed three years ago under the leadership of Dr. Karen Stout, President of Montgomery County Community College, and Deb Takes, President of Harleysville National Bank. Since that time, more than 70 women have gone through the program, many of whom completed successful business plans and have gone on to start or grow their own companies.

Montgomery County Community College and The Leading Women Symposium and Golf Experience seek to offer yet another avenue for women entrepreneurs and women in the workforce to interact and share success strategies.

Don’t miss your opportunity to forge new relationships, empower your life, and help impact the lives of the students at Montgomery County Community College!
