New Student Orientation - Central

Welcome to Montgomery County Community College! The summer Orientation for all newly admitted students for Fall 2008 will be held during the last week of August. Please see the information below for days/times specific to your attendance.

During Orientation there will be a welcome from key staff and faculty focusing on academic and student support services, a campus tour so you can become familiar with the physical layout of our campus, an opportunity to learn about campus resources—from clubs to tutoring centers—and an informal barbeque with an opportunity to interact personally with various instructors and staff from around campus.

All incoming students are highly encouraged to attend Orientation. Your participation helps ensure your success! This is a fun, valuable opportunity to meet and interact with fellow students. You will also receive important information on how our college and campus works. Our main goal is to provide you with a smooth and helpful transition to college life! We hope to see you there!

A special Parent Orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 26 at 6 p.m. in the Science Center Auditorium, SC213. Parent orientation, run separately from the student program, focuses on a variety of topics of interest to parents of new students. We encourage parents to attend and learn about the College as well as various experiences and challenges your son or daughter will be experiencing during the upcoming year. (Students do not attend this session.)
