Choosing a Major
Advisors will be happy to talk to you about any of the degrees or programs of study offered at the College, but you can do some exploring on your own.
- Take a look at our four degree programs listed below and read about the majors listed under each. Then call the Student Success Center at Central campus 215-641-6577, or email advising@mc3.edu to make an appointment to discuss your choices. You can also contact the Student Success Center at the West Campus by calling 610-718-1906 or emailing stdevctr@mc3.edu
- An Associate in Science (A.S.) or Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree will prepare you to transfer to a four-year college or university
- An Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) will prepare you for immediate employment in a specific career field.
- An Associate in General Studies (A.G.S.) will allow you to tailor your curriculum to your particular needs or transfer plans. However, some transfer institutions prefer the A.A. or A.S. degrees. Be sure to speak to an advisor to ensure your choices best meet your needs.
- Take a look at our 30 credit one year Certificate Programs for more options to prepare you for immediate employment.
Changing a Major
