  • Occupational Outlook Handbook published by the U.S Department of Labor the OOH has been a nationally recognized source of career information for over 50 years. Revised every 2 years, the OOH describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings and projected employment for approximately 250 occupations.

  • The Dictionary of Occupational Titles published by the U.S Department of Labor the DOT provides descriptions for over 12,000 occupations. Details the tasks to be performed and the levels of education must be achieved.

  • Encyclopedia of Career and Vocational Guidance covers general information, historical background, career briefs and employment opportunities for 68 industries and hundreds of specific careers.

  • The Enhanced Guide for Occupational Exploration contains 2,800 occupational descriptions covering more than 95 percent of all workers in the U.S. economy. Its cross-referencing systems allow you to find jobs by skills, interests, education required, industry and other criteria.

  • Opportunities in . . . VGM career books contain a variety of information related to specific career fields including related job titles, salary information and addresses of professional organizations.
