Be admitted as a matriculating student to MCCC.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be done on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Male Citizens of the U.S. and male immigrant aliens 18 through 25 years old must be registered with the U.S. Selective Service System to be eligible for federal student loans and grants. Men can register at any post office or register on-line at www.sss.gov/regist.htm.

For Scholarships, students who:

File the FAFSA by the May 1 deadline date

Meet the specific requirements of the scholarship

Are preregistered for the Fall semester
will automatically be invited to apply for scholarships. You will receive a letter in the mail with more information and an application form.

Grants
Academic Competitiveness Grant: $750 to $1,300

Pell Grant: $400 to $4,310

PHEAA State Grant: $100 to $2,900

Prosser Grant: $200 to $800

Supplemental Grant: $200 to $600
WAGE Grant: $875 to $3,500

Scholarships
- MCCC awards Foundation Scholarships
in August for the upcoming academic year. Students must be registered
and must have applied for financial aid in order to receive consideration
for a scholarship.
- MCCC and the NSF is offering scholarships in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, called STEM disciplines.
(STEM) Scholarships are offered to to full-time students enrolled in one of the STEM programs.

- Students may view additional Outside Scholarships.
- Federal Work Study: $8.00 per hour
- Stafford Loan: $500 to $3,500 (1st year); $500 to $4,500 (2nd year)

Montgomery County Community College offers financial aid in the forms of grants, scholarships student loans, and part-time employment with the majority of our funds provided through Federal and State programs.

Cost of Attendance
Students' financial need is determined by their Cost of Attendance (COA) minus their Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) and any educational resources they may receive. These COA components are based on a average amount for a student's attendance for a full academic year.
