Wasted Youth

Videotape about Binge Drinking on College Campuses

While drinking on campus is not a direct issue at MCCC, drinking off campus, and in particular binge drinking, can still be an issue for students and others at our College, and reflected in poor grades and other performance activities. MCCC students planning to transfer to 4 year institutions, surely will be at risk for exposure to drinking, and possibly binge drinking, at most of these institutions.

In a brief 15 minute video entitled Wasted Youth, much is shared and discussed by Rowan University students on their personal experiences with drinking, either as the drinker and/or as the victim of the consequences of someone who drank "too much". The video was produced by students at Rowan University in New Jersey, in cooperation with Security on Campus located in King of Prussia.

To any parent, who has a son and/or daughter in college, please feel free to preview this video for personal awareness and ideas on how to better equip your son and/or daughter in dealing with this real and serious life issue.
