Services for Students and Alumni
The following career services are designed to help students, graduates and other alumni of Montgomery County Community College find appropriate employment throughout their lives.
Jobs Online/College Central Network is available to all students and alumni. Access job information from your computer on a 24-hour basis. Job listings are entered daily and are listed through the posted expiration dates. Access job postings by clicking on: Jobs Online/College Central Network.
Individual Job Counseling is available by appointment Monday through Friday (day and evening appointment hours are available) to students and alumni for clarifying job hunting goals and getting help with job search processes.
Call to schedule an appointment:
- 215-641-6548, 215-641-6577 or 215-641-7328 Blue Bell Campus
- 610-718-1850 Pottstown Campus
Workshops and Special Programs on resume writing, job search and other job search topics are conducted both day and evening throughout the year. Schedules are posted on bulletin boards, College closed circuit television, and our web site.
Resume Critique Service is a convenient drop-off service that provides an evaluation of your resume. Students and alumni may also email their resumes to careerservices@mc3.edu. Please note, however, that individual follow-up appointments are usually encouraged, especially if a major change of your resume is required.
On Campus Recruiting by Employers occurs throughout the year, and announcements with employer, job, and recruiting location information are posted on Career Services Office bulletin boards, the College closed circuit television and through Jobs Online/College Central Network.
Career Exploration, Job Market Data, and Job Hunting Resources are available in the Student Success Center in College Hall and include books, videos, and other materials helpful to those moving along a career path, contemplating changing careers or jobs, or entering the job market. Call the Counseling Office in the Student Success Center at 215-641-6577 to obtain a password to use DISCOVER, a self-directed career exploration system.
Web Site Information includes schedules of events, announcements, useful Internet sites and Jobs Online/College Central Network and may be accessed by clicking: Career Services Office.
