This Department is concerned with the health and welfare of people from infants to the elderly.

This Administration is responsible for all issues concerning the elderly. It is the principle agency designated to carry out the provisions of the Older Americans Act of 1965.

This Administration works to ensure that the food supply is safe, human and animal drugs, biological products and medical devices are safe and effective, and electronic products that emit radiation are safe.
These Agencies administer research activities which help to determine future medical treatment and disease prevention in the U.S.
This Administration provides leadership in the prevention and treatment of addictive and mental disorders.
