    Developed for the educator, the site presents a "dynamic learning environment with a variety of resources to support newspapers in college classrooms."  Offers articles, case studies, and interactive features to encourage students to become involved with the news.

History of the Holocaust

The Holocaust History Project
 An archive of documents, photographs, recordings, and essays regarding the Holocaust, including direct refutation of Holocaust denial.  Documents, such as a Nazi letter referring to "gassing devices," are displayed as photographic images, transcriptions of the German, translations into English, and background information is given.  A search engine indexes the entire site. 

 The Jewish Student Online Research Center: The Holocaust
 Presents a table of contents for information on numerous topics on the Holocaust.  Includes topics such as "Chronology of Jewish Persecution,"  "Concentration Camps,"  "Ghettos," "Kristallnacht," and "Resisters, Rescuers, and Bystanders," among many others. 

Remember.org
 Covers the Holocaust in extensive detail.  Provides images, eye-witness records and  interviews, educational material, a book list, discussion forum, and various articles. 

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
 The Museum, in Washington, D.C., supports documentation, study, and interpretation   of Holocaust history.  The site includes a range of excellent online exhibitions, such as "The Holocaust in Greece," "Hidden History of the Kovno Ghetto," "The Nazi Olympics, Berlin 1936," "Dietrich Bonhoeffer," and "The Doctors Trial:  The Medical Case of the Subsequent  Nuremberg Proceedings," as well as information about the museum and its programs. 

Women and the Holocaust: New Jersey Council for the Humanities
Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, this site is a scholarly examination of women's experiences during the Holocaust. Lesson plans for middle and high school students, assessment tools, and links to related sources are given for each of 8 topic areas. Also, an essay by Dr. Ellen Friedman, director of the Women's and Gender Studies Program and Professor of English at The College of New Jersey, provides an overview of the web project and the examines the importance of women's experiences during the Holocaust.

         The Institute is a non-profit organization which focuses on reproductive health research, 
         policy analysis, and public education.  The site offers statistics, policy papers, and
         publications on the topics of abortion, law and public policy, pregnancy and birth,
         prevention and contraception, sexual behavior, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV,
         and youth.  Also offers online the periodicals:  Family Planning Perspectives, The
