The Learning Lab’s Services:

• Tutoring – free help with your course work

• Computer Assistance – help with course related work and basic computer skills

• Workshops – interactive workshops in study skills, writing, math, test taking, time management and much more

• Group Tutoring – an alternative to one on one tutoring; offered for some of the most popular courses offered at MCCC

• Online Tutoring - An excellent way to get tutoring help if you are taking a e-learning course, you find it difficult to get to campus, or you think of a question in the middle of the night when the LAL is closed.

Who are the tutors?

The tutors consist of peers, paraprofessionals and professionals.

• Peers – MCCC students who have successfully completed the courses they tutor

• Paraprofessionals – Former MCCC students; currently completing their education at a four year college

• Professionals – MCCC faculty members
