List three to nine keywords that you identified in your reading.
Keywords are words that define or describe your topic.
Searching by keywords is important because you can't search the databases with a sentence.
Three of your keywords will be the author's name (ie. Welty), the title of the work, and the word "criticism."
Find additional keywords by reading your encyclopedia article and highlighting the words that best describe your topic. Here's an example.
