The Meridian Club is a student club for those students often referred to as “non-traditional” students. Most are first-time or returning college students age 21 and over. Meridian Club members come from diverse backgrounds and often are highly motivated in pursuing an opportunity to attend college. The club provides a place where students can come together and find support from others, as well as offer support, while making life changes and/or sacrifices to attend college. As Meridians, students are encouraged to support each other through a variety of opportunities, such as, group meetings, community service projects, fund raisers, educational workshops and other important issues that may arise during the semester. The primary function of the club is to provide support and encouragement to first time or returning college students age 21 and over.
