Purpose

Our primary goal is to promote medical technology on the Montgomery County Community College Campus and in the community.  Towards this goal the club takes part in a number of community service events during the year.

Activities

Our annual community service events include Health Screening Day, Community Day, the Health and Wellness Expo and special events for National Medical Laboratory Week which takes place in April of each year.  During each of these events MLT Club members will process and or perform laboratory testing free of charge for members of the College and or community at large.

Other activities include hosting guest speakers in various areas of laboratory science such as medical technology and forensics.

Our annual pretzel sale helps to fund the activities of the MLT Club.
