    Adventure Club

    The Adventure Club is an organization for all students interested in outdoor recreation, physical fitness, and wellness. Sporting events, recreational trips, and community service activities are conducted throughout the year.

    African-American Student League

    This club serves the needs of our African American students, provides activities on campus, and serves the community. Available at both Central and West Campus.


    African Student Association

    To create and maintain a cohesive African community on campus. To provide a structure to support and develop a means for engaging each other socially and to share each other's understandings.

    Asian Club

    This club serves the needs of our Asian students and provides activities throughout the year.


    Ceramics

    This club is a group of students who bring in lecturers and share their enthusiam about ceramics.


    Christian Fellowship Club

    This club is a group of students who share in Bible studies and enjoy Christian fellowship and activities. Available at both Central and West Campus.


    College Choir Club

    Operating in conjunction with the academic course "College Choir", this club's purpose is: to help all students learn the basic techniques of good choral singing; to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a musical, performance-oriented group; to expose participating students, through choral literature, to a wide variety of musical styles; and to promote the college through the presentation of choral programs.


    Communicating Arts Production Group (CAPG)

    This group is a co-curricular activity/organization funded by the Student Government Association, for the purpose of providing the students with the opportunity to gain understanding and skill in communications/entertainment media such as film, television, theatre, audio programming, etc. The basic method of the club is to provide supervised production experience.


    Community Service Club

    This club will assist existing charities with the help of students throughout the county. They will also help other clubs in their community service projects.


    Criminal Justice and Fire Science Club

    To advance academic excellence and career potential in the Criminal Justice and Fire Science majors.


    Culinary Club

    To utilize the universal commonality of food to bring students of the College together for charity, fellowship, community service, and college activities, and to share and develop culinary skills.

    Dance Club

    To enhance opportunities to explore dance in our region.


    Dental Hygiene Club

    The Dental Hygiene Club is a student professional organization which provides direction and leadership for those students within this field of study. It attempts to help the Dental Hygiene student become a willing and viable member of the health service profession.


    Doug's Corner

    The mission of Doug's Corner is to establish a multi-purpose organization to get students involved with the school and community. Activities planned throughout the year will bring many different students together in an attempt to help as many charities as possible. Students involved with Doug's Corner will learn more about themselves, their college, and their community.


    Drama Club

    This group was established for all students who are interested in putting on dramatic plays. They also travel to area theaters, and put on at least one play per semester.

    Environmental Club

    This club is one of the largest clubs on campus. Members are dedicated to environmental issues, not only national, but throughout our county and on our own campus. Members attend workshops and have information tables on campus during Earth Week.


    Guitar Club

    To create a community of guitar players so new players can be taught and more experienced players will have an opportunity to play together.


    HOLA Club

    This club acts as a support group and a welcoming committee for Spanish speaking students. Club membership is open to all students. The majority of students are from Spanish speaking countries, some are English as a Second Language students and others are International students. A part of the club mission is to perform community service. The club is open to all MCCC students with an interest in sharing life experiences, promoting cultural understanding and diversity, and giving back to their community.


    Human Services Club

    Inaugurated to promote the Human Services student to become an active voice in the certification or licensing of the associate degree graduate; to provide seminars on mental health issues relevant to the students and to the community. Available at both Central and West Campuses.


    IDEAL (Individual Definitions of Education and Learning)

    To address issues of students with challenges; promote awareness among students, faculty, and staff; provide peer support opportunities; and increase social involvement.

    Indo-American Cultural Association

    The Indo-American Cultural Association (IACA) of Montgomery County Community College aspires to expose, explore, and broaden the vision of the culture of India throughout the community.

    International Club

    This club was established to provide a support group for International and ESL students. One of the goals is to help students adjust to a different cultural and academic environment. Many students come to MCCC with no family or contacts in the immediate college area. Meeting staff and other students in a group setting helps establish relationships, friendships, and the sharing of other cultures. This provides a connection to the College and an opportunity to obtain and provide information and support for each other. The meetings can be an arena where students can discuss differences and similarities in their home and host environment and any concerns regarding their academic and cultural experiences here at MCCC. Club activities will serve to enhance knowledge and understanding of the American culture and the academic system for International and ESL students and will help expose all MCCC students to a worldview of other cultures. Exposure to others facilitates communication, understanding and sharing that helps promote unity among all groups.


    Karate Club

    Formed to further the spirit and knowledge of the martial arts through concentrated instruction.


    Literary Magazine

    This award winning magazine produces poetry, short stories, and art work each semester. This enables students to express themselves in the above categories.

    To promote and support the medical assisting profession on campus and in the community, and to be involved in campus life through planning and participation in events.

    Medical Lab Technician

    A student professional organization which provides direction and leadership for those students within this field of study. Members attend regional conferences.

    Meridian Club

    Provides an opportunity for students over 21 to discuss problems facing mature students; brings group problems of administrative consideration to the attention of the college; provides information and moral support to its members; supports the college's image in the community; and provides services as determined by the active membership. Available at both Central and West Campus.

    Muslim Club

    This club is for our Muslim students and provides support for the students.


    Phi Beta Lambda

    This club is a non-profit educational association of students preparing for careers in business and business related fields.


    Phi Theta Kappa

    This is the national honor society for two-year colleges. Students who have earned at least twelve transferable credits and who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better are eligible for membership. Available at both Central and West Campus.

    Physical Education Club

    To promote professional involvement through workshops and community involvement.


    Psychology Club

    To enhance students understanding of psychology and how it relates to career development.

    Radiography Club

    To support and promote the profession of radiography on campus and in the community.

    Radio Station

    Maintains a variety of music while also informing the students of up-to-the-minute news. Training and experience in radio programming, advertising production techniques, news reporting, and disc jockey practice are some of the skills received.


    SFLAG

    (Students and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) This organization is open to ALL students: lesbian, gay, straight, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning. They meet to support the LGBTQQ community on campus, and to educate the college community about LGBTQQ people and the issues and concerns that confront them. The club meets on Monday, 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. in Parkhouse Hall, Room 108.


    Student Engineering Associates (S.E.A.)

    This club is for all students interested in engineering.


    Student Government

    The Student Government is the elected representative student structure of the College. The functions of this organization are to represent student interests, to provide an effective means for students to express their wishes on matters directly concerning them and the college, and to control expenditures of funds through the administration of the Student Activities Fee. Central Campus's office is located in College Hall and they can be reached at (215) 619-7310. West Campus's office is located in the Student Club Room, and they can be reached at (610) 718-1805. Both meet every Monday at 12:30 PM.

    A student professional organization which provides direction and leadership for those within this field. Members attend regional workshops according to their profession.

    The Advantage

    The student newspaper is published on a monthly basis and serves to inform the student body of activities happening around the college and in the world. Provides the staff an excellent opportunity for practical journalistic experience, typesetting, layout, investigative reporting, etc.


    The Writers Club

    This club is represented by the students who meet at various locations for readings of their poetry and short stories, who would like to learn more about how they can have their works published, and who also attend various poetry conferences.
