Services for Students with Disabilities

Assistive Technology

The Disability Services Center provides assistive technology to increase access to print and computer technology. Students may benefit from using the following equipment and software applications.

  • Kurzweil 3000 and Read and Write for students with learning disabilities

  • Closed Circuit TV and ZoomText for students with low vision

  • JAWS, Braille Embosser, Reading Edge, and Type N’ Speak for students with blindness

  • Alternative keyboards and trackballs for students with physical disabilities

The College participates in the Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic AudioBook program.
