Transfer Information

Transferring to a four-year college or university is a major goal of many MCCC students. Successful transfer requires careful selection and planning so courses taken at MCCC not only transfer easily, but also meet requirements at the transfer school. We have many resources to help students with that process. Transfer resources that are available in the MCCC Counseling Center include Partner fact sheets, transfer guides, course equivalencies, college directories, and catalogs.

MCCC works extensively with other colleges and universities to develop articulation agreements and guides that will assist students in choosing a 4-year school to continue their programs of study. Partnerships with several area schools and the Academic Passport with the State System of Higher Education schools are recent innovations designed to ease transfer and maximize the transferability of an MCCC degree.

In addition, students have opportunities to meet with representatives from 4-year colleges and universities when they visit the MCCC campus during the year for Transfer Wednesdays, Evening College Transfer Night, and Partnership Transfer Days and Evenings.

Transfer information is always subject to change, and students should periodically check this site or visit the Counseling Center (Central Campus) or Student Success Center (West Campus) for updated information.
