I am attending college for the first time. After working for over twenty years in the mortgage industry, I decided to change careers. I resigned from my job and applied to Montgomery County Community College, two of the best decisions I have made.
My experience here has been great. All of my professors have been wonderful. They are always willing to help and answer any of my questions. After being recommended by several of my previous professors, I became a tutor and supplemental instructor for a Math 010 course. I enjoy being a peer mentor to the students, to help them grasp and understand concepts that they are unfamiliar with, so they can excel. I have found working with other students in this capacity has been very rewarding.
The atmosphere at Montgomery County Community College has encouraged me to try and excel to my fullest potential.
