She has a B.A. in English from Chestnut Hill College and an M.A. in English from West Chester University. She began her teaching career at the College in 2003 as a part-time English instructor and became full-time in 2006. Her areas of interest include Irish literature, 19th century American literature, and composition. She belongs to The American Conference for Irish Studies, Daltaí na Gaeilge, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, The International James Joyce Foundation and the Modern Language Association. Mrs. Resente has worked on the College’s Annual Writers Conference as the coordinator for two years. She has recently been elected to serve on the Board of the Philadelphia Writers Conference.
