My name is Juan Chapman and I am a student-athlete at Montgomery County Community College. I would like to share with you a brief story about being a student-athlete in college. This past semester I played for the Mustangs’ Men’s Basketball team and it was a great experience.
Before becoming an athlete however, I had to first become a sound student. Working hard in the classroom and keeping focused on my school work is what made me into the basketball player I am today. Studying in Montgomery County Community Colleges’ esteemed Criminal Justice program has helped me build confidence and become an all around better student. Being able to be a part of both this great academic program, and be a member of Mustangs’ Athletics has opened doors to future opportunities that might have not been there prior to coming to this college.
