Her next step is to attain her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at either West Chester University or Gwynedd Mercy College.
During her two years at Montgomery County Community College, she became good friends with her fellow students in the Honors Program.
“I like all of my teachers, too,” she said. They are very personable and willing to help outside of class.”
Lauren is an active member of the Christian fellowship club, THRIVE; the Honors Club; and the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa.
Last year, she earned a foundation scholarship, the Allan C. Myers Award, for her upstanding character and academic performance. Her grade point average is 3.9.
When she is not at school, Lauren is busy with her part-time job in customer service at a local supermarket. She is actively involved with her church, Calvary Chapel, in Quakertown and enjoys reading.
She lives in Green Lane with her two younger sisters. She graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School, where she played the flute in the concert and marching bands.
