EARN Program
Who are we?
Employment, Advancement and Retention Network formerly known as the Single Point of Contact program is designed to help TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) recipients move toward self- sufficiency. The purpose of EARN is to provide comprehensive and nurturing activities and services to individuals who are newly applying to TANF benefits as well as individuals who are already receiving TANF benefits. The goal of the program is to move the individuals served toward self- sufficiency.
What do we do?
We provide counseling, job training and preparation, career assessments, interviewing techniques and much more to help TANF individuals move toward self- sufficiency by getting and keeping a good paying job.
EARN is funded by the Department of Public Welfare and coordinated through Montgomery County Economic and Workforce Development. Montgomery County Community College provides support with retention.
