Peer Mentoring
Montgomery County Community College is dedicated to fostering the growth and success of all students. The Peer Mentors will provide encouragement, guidance and empower our new students by providing them with information they need in order to succeed as a student.
Peer Mentors at MCCC have completed at least one year of study and represent a diverse group of backgrounds and experiences. Most importantly, they are dedicated to helping other students achieve their goals and share their enthusiasm. They were chosen through a rigorous selection process and have received training to develop their knowledge and skills in such areas as college resources, internet skills, and conflict resolution.
If you are interested in becoming a peer mentor, please contact Leonard Bass, Assistant Dean of Student Success and First Year Initiatives for more information at 215-641-6577.
