Purpose
The certification courses are recommended for operations staff from both the service and manufacturing sectors seeking CPIM, or those wanting additional skills development. Job titles include: Planner, Planner-Buyer, Senior Planner, Senior Planner-Buyer, Master Scheduler, Manufacturing Manager, Materials Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Warehouse/Logistics Manager, and Inventory Manager.
Program Description
Build your operations management skills and advance your career with the CPIM. APICS, the Association for Operations Management, is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in supply chain and operations management including production, inventory, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. The Center for Workforce Development (CWD) has partnered with PAN-APICS to offer the internationally recognized Certification in Production and Inventory Management. Five courses are offered that comprise the review for the CPIM (Certification in Production and Inventory Management) credential exams.
Consideration for Industry Certification and Articulation
The program leads to the 640-460 IIUC Implementing Cisco IOS Unified Communications certification exam that is associated with the CCNA Voice certification.
