Purpose
The Entrepreneurship Certificate Program is designed to prepare students to launch and/or grow a successful business, small or large, profit or nonprofit. Linking theory and practice, students will acquire the knowledge and skills that are essential to managing a viable business.
Program Description
Through this four-course certificate program, students will learn how to assess and identify viable business opportunities to pursue, develop a sustainable marketing plan with realistic implementation capabilities, demonstrate proficiency in fundamental accounting procedures for new, or existing entrepreneurial ventures, develop a practical business plan with realistic implementation capabilities, demonstrate the proper soft skills of a business person, including the ability to communicate effectively, efficiently and professionally in written and/or oral presentations. Each course is 45 hours and runs about 7 weeks.
Primary Goals
Prospective and existing entrepreneurs will learn how to develop business and marketing plans.

PREREQUISITE: There are no prerequisites.
Recognition of Completion: A certificate of program completion will be awarded by the College, upon successful completion of all four courses.
