Faculty and Staff Academic Regalia

Regalia rentals for faculty and staff need to be reserved by August 20. After this date, individual employees may incur additional rush shipping charges if they order after the August deadline.

Faculty and staff should remember to bring their caps, gowns, tassel and any cords or stoles earned to the ceremony. Employees should wear the regalia from the institution where they graduates. If an employee misplaces or needs to borrow a cap and gown, the College has a small number of bachelor degree gowns/caps available.

Employees with a Dependent and/or Spouse Graduating

If an employee has a dependent and/or spouse graduating in this year’s Commencement Ceremony on October 2, 2020 and wants to present their diploma on stage, please read below for important information.

In order to present a dependent/spouse with their diploma, the employee will need to participate in a mandatory stage rehearsal the week of the ceremony. West Campus and CAI will have a rehearsal via video conference. Employees presenting diplomas to dependents/spouses also participate in the Commencement Ceremony, which includes walking in your academic regalia as a part of the formal procession and sitting in the faculty section of the tent. Employees, who are also receiving their diplomas on October 2, are unable to present diplomas to their dependents/spouses as they are a part of the formal ceremony as a student graduate.

Please contact by Friday, September 4 at 5 p.m. if you would like to present your dependent/spouse with their diploma, or have any additional questions.
