Are vaccines required at this time?
The College will not require students or employees to be vaccinated at this time. However, as a Vaccine Champion College, we highly encourage you to get your vaccination.
Will temperature checks be taken for students entering buildings?
At this time, temperature checks will not be required.
Are masks required (even if vaccinated)?
Yes, masks are currently required in all College buildings regardless of vaccination status.
What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?
If you test positive for COVID-19, please notify us at email@example.com and we will provide guidance on next steps.
How do I know if my class is in-person or virtual?
On your schedule, both the on-campus and online start is listed within the location/room assignment. In this example, the first on-campus day is Monday September 13 in Parkhouse Hall, room 336. The online class is held September 1.
How can I access my courses?
To access your courses, log into Montco Connect > Tools > Blackboard or reference the 'Blackboard Courses' widget in Connect. You should also check your Montco email for any information from your professor.

To access your course schedule and information, log into Montco Connect > Tools > Self Service.
How can I locate my Montco username and ID?
You can look up your username and ID online at mc3.edu/idfind.
How can I reset my Montco password?
You can reset your password at password.mc3.edu.
Are Student Services available on campus?
Enrollment Services will be available in a hybrid fashion—both on campus in Parkhouse Hall at the Blue Bell Campus, and in South Hall (room 234) at the Pottstown Campus, or available virtually through the Student Services Resource Center (SSRC) online chat or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Monday thru Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Academic advising will continue to be administered in a virtual capacity only.
How do I get my Student ID Card?
Your Student ID Card is now digital and available online. If you don’t yet have a Student ID, the MyPhoto online system is now public and you can upload your photo directly in Montco Connect under Quick Links > Virtual ID Photo Submission.
Will food services be available?
The cafeteria and cafés will remain closed; however, other limited food service options will be available:
Blue Bell Campus
The Hedgehog Grill food truck will be available weekdays:

Health Sciences Center parking lot
Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Morris Road parking lot
Vending machines are available in the Health Sciences Center (HSC), Fine Arts Center (FAC) and Parkhouse Hall.
The Smart Market will be vending sandwiches and drinks in North Hall. Vending machines will be available in South Hall. In addition, Grumpy's Hand Carved Sandwiches, the Ice House, Snack Shack and more vendors will be available on campus. Check out the calendar for dates and menus.
Where can I purchase my books?
We no longer have a physical bookstore on campus; instead, you can purchase or rent textbooks online from the Virtual Bookstore powered by eCampus.
Will student organizations/clubs be running this fall?
Yes! Check out the Get Involved page on Montco Connect for multiple opportunities to engage in clubs and organizations this fall. For any additional questions, email email@example.com.
Will library services be available?
College Hall will be closed through the end of 2021 for renovations and the library at Pottstown Campus will remain closed at this time. However, the library team will be offering online events, support—such as a mailing service for books at Pottstown and a drop-off box for materials at Blue Bell—and various resources including eBooks, publications, and streaming video services. For the most up-to-date information and a full list of resources, visit the Library's website.
Are there study rooms available on campus?
Yes, study spaces are available throughout the Blue Bell Campus during the College Hall renovations. You are free to use the open spaces for study purposes.
Where can I go to participate in an online class while I’m on Blue Bell Campus?
Parkhouse 122 has been reserved for you to participate in your online class while on campus.
Will the 2021-22 Student Handbooks be available?
Yes, you can download a digital version of the 2021-22 Student Handbook. A physical copy of the handbook will be available at tables around campus on the first few days of class.
Will computer labs be available for student use?
Computer labs will not be open and we encourage you to bring your own device. Contact the Help Desk if you would like to learn more about Montco’s laptop loan program.
Will the fitness center in the Health Sciences Center (HSC) be open?
The fitness center in the HSC will be open to students and employees beginning September 1, Monday through Friday, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Will athletics be returning this fall, and can family/friends/students be spectators?
Athletics will have a full schedule for fall. At this time, spectators will not be allowed to attend based on current local and state guidelines; however, for information regarding livestreamed events, please visit our athletics website.
Will the food pantry be open for students at either campus?
The food pantry will be available in a limited capacity on both the Blue Bell and Pottstown Campuses. If you need assistance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I obtain a parking pass?
If you will be parking at the Blue Bell or Pottstown Campuses or the Culinary Arts Institute this fall, parking passes are required for students and employees. Submit the online parking pass application in Montco Connect under Resources > Parking Pass Application. We will mail your parking passes to your address on file.
Will tutoring services be available?
Free individual tutoring services will be offered via tutor.com 24/7 during the fall semester. Montco tutors will be available, along with the tutor.com tutors, during our Montco tutoring hours. Open tutoring sessions in Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, offering audio and video, are available for subjects such as Math, CIS, Writing, CHE 121, ESL and TEAS support.
