Laura Kline

Director of the College Connections Experience (CCE) at the Pottstown Campus.

Laura began her role as Director of the CCE program in June 2021, building on her almost 20 years of professional experience in higher education as an academic advisor, career counselor, director of career development and adjunct instructor.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child & Family Studies (Psychology & Sociology) from Albright College. After working several years in a variety of industries, she returned to higher education, earning a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Shippensburg University. During her time at Shippensburg, she was a graduate assistant (which paid for her tuition) serving as an academic advisor to students who were undecided about their major.

Following graduation, Laura became a full-time academic advisor at Penn State University, where her passion for supporting student success grew to not just include exploration in finding a major, but also career preparation. This growth prompted Laura to pursue a new role as a career counselor at her alma mater, Albright College. Now as a proud Mustang and member of the Montco community, Laura is focused on institutional strategies in support of student access, persistence, retention and completion along with an amazing team of three CCE Success Coaches.
