Must-see, high-energy student performances

At the root of every powerful dance is a performer who is honest and authentic to themselves. Montco's dance students create original choreography through a variety of techniques including ballet, hip hop, modern, tap, contemporary and jazz.

Each semester, the Dance Ensemble presents a full-length dance concert each fall and spring, in addition to participating in the Performing Arts Showcase. Additionally, the performers travel to local dance studios to interact and share their expertise with the community.

To participate in dance, join the dance performance ensemble or take a dance class. If you have questions, contact Melinda Copel, Dance Professor.

I taught dance for over seven years with my degree and was able to start my own dance company because of the programming and knowledge that the dance department at Montco gave to me. Chelsea Jack, Class of 2012
