Web Design and Development

Montgomery County Community College will receive sealed bids for the following:

Web Design and Development (Bid# 17-2019)

All bid documents will be available through Public Purchase  after February 8, 2019. Registration is free. Bid responses must be submitted via the Public Purchase website by 11:00 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Questions are to be submitted via Public Purchase no later than March 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. 

Bids shall conform to all other requirements as more fully set forth in the bidding documents, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof or items therein and to waive informalities and/or technicalities, as it deems best to protect its interest.

 

Bids for Perkins Equipment

Montgomery County Community College will receive sealed bids for the following:

* Culinary Arts Equipment (Bid#12-2019)

* Dell Computer Equipment (Bid#13-2019)

* Radiography Equipment (Bid#14-2019)

* Sound Recording Technology (Bid# 15-2019)

* Health and Fitness Equipment (Bid#16-2019)

All bid documents will be available through Public Purchase after January 30, 2019. Bid responses must be submitted via the Public Purchase website by 11:00 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Questions are to be submitted via Public Purchase no later than February 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Registration on Public Purchase is free.

Science Center Renovations

Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Community College will accept sealed proposals online for Science Center Renovations, Project 7868.18. A lump sum bid is requested for each of the following separate contracts: General, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection trades.

Bid due date: Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2 p.m.

Bidding Documents shall be obtained only on the PennBid™ website beginning on January 3, 2019. Primary bidders shall secure a set of bidding documents for complete Architectural, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical drawings and specifications from PennBid™. Bids can only be submitted online via PennBid™ Bid Management. Due to the possible inaccuracies in documents procured from other sources, and the potential for an incomplete understanding of the project scope of work, bids submitted by firms who procure these documents from any other source but the authorized source will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.

Please indicate on the PennBid website which of the separate contracts you are bidding i.e. general, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, etc.

All contracts for the project will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

Performance, Labor and Materials Payment Bonds are required as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The Small Diverse Business (SDB) Participation Forms and the Owner’s Certification of Responsible Contractor Status Form are located with requirements in the Project Manual. Bidders shall include completed forms with their bid.

A mandatory bidder's pre-bid conference and tour of the work area (including major subcontractors) will be conducted in the Science Center Auditorium located at 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422 at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

After the bid openings, bids may be withdrawn only by strictly complying with the “Modifications and Withdrawal” article of the Instructions to Bidders.

Access Control System

Proposals will be received by Montgomery County Community College for the Access Control System (RFP# 11-2018). RFP documents will be available through Public Purchase by close of business on November 21, 2018. RFP responses must be submitted via the Public Purchase website by 11 a.m. on December 20, 2018. Registration is free. Questions are to be submitted via Public Purchase no later than December 4, 2018 at 3 p.m.

A mandatory walkthrough will take place on Central Campus in College Hall room 146 on December 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. Please email Purchasing@mc3.edu if you will be attending.

Traffic Signal Installation

Notice is hereby given that Montgomery County Community College will accept sealed proposals online for Traffic Signal Installation at the Intersection of Morris Road and Montgomery County Community College within Whitpain Township. Bids will be accepted until 11 a.m., December 6, 2018, via Public Purchase. Questions must be submitted via Public Purchase by November 28, 2018 at 5 p.m. Plans and specifications are available online at no charge via Public Purchase.

Bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities or to refuse any or all of the bids. This project must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.

Proposers must be submitted on forms included in the bidding documents and must be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Affidavit and the Owner’s Certification of Responsible Contractor Status form in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers.

All bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408, latest revision, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertake the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified prime contractors and include staffs who are IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II certified to perform construction of traffic signals.
