If you are seeking a degree, the following steps are required, with the exception of filing a FAFSA.
For those students that are seeking a certificate, you are not required, though strongly encouraged, to complete all of the steps. Please know that Assessing Your Skills may be required for certain certificate programs.

Log into your MyMC3 portal to access and complete Get to Know Montco. Get to Know Montco is a resource for new students that provides an introduction to life in the classroom and on campus.
▢ FILE YOUR FAFSA
One of your most important steps is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Our federal school code is 004452.
You’ll want to explore the many options available to help pay for college, such as scholarships and grants.

▢ SUBMIT YOUR TRANSCRIPT
You need to submit official transcripts from any high schools and/or colleges/universities you have attended. If you received a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), please submit your official GED scores or a copy of your GED diploma.
Transcripts are considered official if received in one of three ways:

- College transcript(s) showing equivalent competency
- Cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of application
