Montgomery County Community College offers three programs in Education: Education in the Early Years: Birth through Fourth Grade (EEY), Education in the Middle Years (EMY), and Secondary Education (ESY). All three degree programs follow the certification standards set forth by the PA Department of Education, which certifies candidates to teach children in public or private schools. Successful graduates from any of these Montgomery County Community College programs will have satisfied most of the requirements for the first two years of an undergraduate degree program and will be prepared to transfer to a four-year institution.
