Introduction to Revit (BIPCT 2163)

Students will be introduced to the basic commands and concepts of Revit. Topics to be covered include 3D model creation, modifying model elements, cutting and editing sections, adding details independent of the 3D model, setting-up and annotating drawings, and printing. Students will practice the modeling concepts introduced by completing a series of in-class exercises. A strong understanding of AutoCAD 2009 or later is encouraged but not required. No textbook is required for this class.
