This self-paced course gets you ready for the DataSys+ (V1) exam. You'll learn the difference between traditional databases and newer NoSQL systems (for example, DynamoDB and MongoDB), how to create and change database structures and data, and how to make sure data updates are safe and reliable. The course also covers basic scripting to work with databases, tools that let programs talk to databases, how to plan and design a database (including simple diagrams and a data glossary), and how to test database performance and connectivity. Lessons include short readings, demos, and hands-on exercises so you can practice what you learn.
