CompTIA Security+ Certification Preparation On Demand (BIPCT 4898)

This On Demand course prepares students for the Security+ (V7) exam. It covers how organizations protect systems with different safeguards (technical, physical, managerial, and procedural); the core security ideas of keeping data private, accurate, and available; proving actions can't be denied and managing who can access what; basics of encryption and digital signatures; who the attackers are and why they attack; and common ways attacks happen (phishing, insecure networks, malicious files, and supply-chain problems). During the year students will have access to a virtual CompTIA instructor.
