Elementary Korean I is an introduction to the Korean language. This course is intended for students with minimal or no prior knowledge of the Korean language. Students will learn to master basic communicative situations in Korean at a mid-novice level. Students will work on gaining mastery of all the basic skills of Korean - listening, speaking, reading, and writing- as well as the cultural context in which they are used. In addition, students will learn about a variety of aspects of Korean culture.
