If there are no seats available when a student tries to register for a course section, they will have the option to join a waitlist in the event a seat becomes available. When a student receives the email that a seat is available, they will have 24 hours to register for the course before the seat is offered to the next student on the waitlist.

To join or drop a waitlist go to Self-Service. Find the course with no available seats in your academic plan under Academics > Student Planning > Plan & Schedule.

  • To join the waitlist, select Waitlist
  • To remove yourself from the waitlist, select Drop Waitlist

Once you receive a waitlist permission email, the option to register will appear on the course card. Select Register to accept the seat.
