More than 80 people attended Workforce Development Open House

More than 80 people attended Montgomery County Community College’s Workforce Development Open House & Symposium on March 1 to learn about customized training courses, Fast-Track to Employment programs and professional development opportunities.

Attendees included representatives from area businesses, community members and students from area high schools, including Perkiomen Valley School District.

Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 95 S. Hanover Street in Pottstown, the Open House included information sessions about the various programs offered by MCCC’s Workforce Development Division such as Advanced Computer Networks and Security, OSHA, Customer Experience, Building Inspection, Lean Manufacturing, New Supervisor Training and Personal Finance.

MCCC’s Workforce Development Division provides career-training programs for individuals, businesses and organizations in Montgomery County and the surrounding areas. Both day and evening courses are available, as well as online learning opportunities.
