Montgomery County Community College’s Workforce Development Division will offer a one-day training on the Principles of Lean Manufacturing in January. The training is the first public collaboration in conjunction with Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC), a MCCC Workforce Development partner.
The training will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Parkhouse Hall, room 114, at MCCC’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, Pa. Find more information and register at www.dvirc.org/events/plm319-2/.
The hands-on workshop will focus on the basic principles of Lean Manufacturing and demonstrate how these principles are applied in a simulated production environment. Participants will see how waste is eliminated, productivity is increased and companies gain a competitive edge in the marketplace, all while reducing costs and improving cash flow.
